Our Story
In Australian cities, apartment parking is scarce, expensive, and poorly utilised. Thousands of spaces sit empty during the day while nearby drivers circle blocks searching for a park. At the same time, EV adoption is accelerating but charging infrastructure in residential buildings remains almost nonexistent.
Charzie was founded to solve both problems at once. We built a marketplace that works within the existing rules of strata communities — not against them. Building managers approve every listing, set access rules, and earn a share of revenue for their owners corporation.
Our platform handles the hard parts: identity verification, regulated payments through Stripe, insurance coverage, blockchain-backed audit trails, and a fair dispute resolution process. The result is a parking marketplace that buildings, hosts, and drivers can all trust.
